East Africans: 50,000 UGX per person per day
Note that these entrance fees include the services of a guide provided by the Uganda Wildlife Authority (UWA) and you can pay this money at any of the UWA Offices or through your Tour Operator.

Porter Fees
When climbing Mount Elgon on these trails, hiring a porter is required and necessary. Although it may seem unfamiliar to some hikers, their assistance is invaluable.
