About Mount Elgon Uganda

Mount Elgon is one of the oldest volcanic mountains in East Africa. According to the Uganda Wildlife Authority, the volcano first erupted about 24 million years ago.

By Road

The most common travel route is:

Entebbe → Kampala → Jinja → Mbale → Mount Elgon
