1. Our Story

I. The Early Days (2017-2019)

After two years of working as a porter and community tour guide, Lawrence noticed a striking imbalance: only foreign nationals were participating in tour activities, while locals were largely absent. This observation sparked an idea.

II. The Birth of a Concept (2020)

Lawrence founded a local hiking club (Budadiri Hikers) to encourage fellow Ugandans to explore their own natural heritage. The club's success was swift, with members venturing beyond Mount Elgon to discover new destinations. This experience laid the groundwork for Lawrence's vision: a tour company that would showcase Mount Elgon's hidden gems while promoting sustainable tourism practices.
