At Mount Elgon Eco Tours, sustainability is more than a policy—it is part of how we plan, operate, and improve every experience we offer in Mount Elgon National Park, Uganda.

Protecting the Mount Elgon Environment
The forests, waterfalls, caves, rivers, wildlife, and unique ecosystems of Mount Elgon are the foundation of our tours. We help protect these natural resources by:

Can you actually swim in the pool at the top?
Sturdy trail running shoes or hiking boots with aggressive tread patterns are mandatory due to the steep, slippery mud and loose rocks on the escarpment climb. Lightweight, moisture-wicking clothes and a reliable rain jacket are highly recommended.
